Look for the positive energy
Friday has been planned for a short trip to Saint Lucia. We are supposed to meet the best engineer of the Caribbean (and an accomplished General Manager). At least that is how my friend Joerg has introduced Carl from The Landings to us. BUT we didn’t fly. Good lessons in Caribbean patience seemed to be much more important to us. Liat flight 381 (I like the Liat jokes; Lost Inbetween Antigua and Trinidad, or Leave Island Any Time) had a broken door… One hour delay, than 90 minutes, than ‘maybe another 30 minutes’. So we’ve got off the flight and instead of Saint Lucia we took a taxi and went to have lunch at the beautiful Turners beach at the south coast. Biggest advantage of this decision: We had time to visit Antigua’s most beautiful spot: Rendez vous Bay.
We are working according to an ‘energy map’, designed by Koen van Biesen, indicating all positive and negative zones on the Island. He has indicated (from Switzerland without knowing Antigua at all) this green cross (see map) as the best and least unspoiled place of the Island of Antigua. So after a 20 minutes bumpy ride with Frank van Nieuwburg (our friend and ‘Antigua host’ for these days), we’ve found this breath taking deserted bay with this most beautiful and unspoiled beach. It’s Friday, just after sunset, 32 degrees Celsius…
A perfect place on earth, but maybe not an ideal place for our developments because of the, sometimes, rough seas and inaccessible road.
