Today we’ve had another most exiting meetings about financials of the feasibility study. Our cost calculating expert Marinus Willemsen has done his job… According to Marinus our budget should to be at least twice as big as expected. At least that is what he has calculated so far. Since Mamayoyo resorts should be intimate and personal, we have set the number of keys for our pilot resort at 50. The concept says that a Mamayoyo Family Resort could contain 50 to 80 personal rooms. So we’ll probably need to raise the number of keys in order to make this pilot financially feasible.
Next to the financials we have been preparing our next trip to the Caribbean, including St. Lucia and Antigua. On Antigua we are investigating three possible sites to build the pilot for Mamayoyo. The second meeting of the day was with André Schoonenwolf, our engineering consultant. Very interesting part of our developments since we want to develop completely green and healthy. He has shown some very impressive examples for cooling installations. We have also discussed the possibilities of a SWAC system. I have to enlarge the checklist with 999 new issues.
